Techgate hosting facilities are linked directly to our own high
speed, ultra reliable, hosting network. Our Internet network
features diverse, high-speed 1GB connections, through Tier 1
Internet Backbone Providers Level3, Cable & Wireless and extensive
peering arrangements at LINX and LONAP with the leading UK ISPs.
Full redundancy of service is provided using Border Gateway Protocol
(BGP) management.
Techgate also has its own Autonomous System,
otherwise known as an “AS Number” allowing Techgate
to send and receive Internet traffic via any of our backbone
providers, thus making Techgate totally ISP independent. This
fully resilient system means Techgate can offer up to 100% service
availability to our clients.
